Flex-time system

ZEALS doesn't establish rigid work hours such as the conventional '9 to 6' framework. We have confidence in your ability to self-manage your schedule. Nevertheless, to ensure effective teamwork, we maintain core hours during portions of the day (Japan Standard Time).

Our focus is on 'outcomes.' Consequently, while emphasizing team coordination and work results, we adopt flexible work styles that suit different positions and job functions.

We hold periodic all-company assemblies and morning meetings to communicate management direction and business strategies, ensuring transparent leadership. We cherish a culture of celebrating each other, including sharing success stories during morning sessions and regular meetings. Furthermore, we leverage online tools centered around Slack to enable seamless communication, fostering connections that bridge physical distance with remote workers through daily progress updates, consultations, and video calls when necessary.

Compensation and Performance Review

We establish appropriate and competitive compensation based on IT sector and prominent startup market benchmarks. Through biannual performance reviews, we assess results and development, working to maintain a system that offers employees both meaningful work and a sense of fulfillment.

Social insurance and Health support

Employees in Japan will be enrolled in all social insurance programs: health insurance, employees' pension insurance, workers' compensation insurance, and employment insurance. This coverage extends to your dependents as well. Additionally, you can receive annual health check-ups and influenza vaccinations free of charge.

Paid leave and Refresh system

New employees receive 10 days of paid time off in their first year, with leave allocation following statutory requirements thereafter. Engineers also enjoy an additional 5 days of annual "refresh leave" (special vacation) for personal renewal and well-being. Furthermore, we offer summer holidays (special leave) and New Year break every year.

Life Stage Support

We offer a comprehensive special leave program that encompasses menstrual leave (1 day monthly), parental care and eldercare leave (2 days annually each), pregnancy-related medical appointment leave, paternity leave for spouse's delivery (maximum 5 days), and compassionate leave. Our goal is to foster an environment where all team members, particularly women, can confidently pursue long-term career development.
